This interim final rule implements subsection 206(a) of the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 by consolidating “Temporary Housing Assistance” and “Individual and Family Grant Programs” into a single program called “Federal Assistance to Individuals and Households.” Through this consolidation we are attempting to streamline the provision of assistance to disaster victims.
